There are 3 models in the range of Bosch slimline dishwashers. These are the Logixx, Exxcell and Classixx in order of price. The Bosch range has received the “best buy” rating from "Which?" magazine. It has various innovations, new and old, that ensure that it stands out in the mid price range bracket. The best value offered is between the Classixx and the Exxcell, but if you are after improved versatility in the washing baskets, enviable in a slimline dishwasher, the Logixx is the best choice. Bosch offer a manufacturer guarantee of 2 years on once you register the product with them.

Bosch innovations

Bosch’s innovation and features make their products stand out. The Bosch slimline dishwasher is no different. All models include the "aquastop" where in the unlikely event of a leak, the water collects in a sealed compartment at the bottom of the dishwasher activating a float which shuts off the water in let valve. In the Exxcell and Logixx models include the HydroSensor and Rackmatic features. The HydroSensor tests the level of dirt in the water prior to rinsing. If it is clean enough it will use the water to rinse, saving up to 4 litre of water per wash. Given the machine only uses 11 litre this makes a massive saving. The Rackmatic feature means the height of the upper basket can be set to 3 levels while it is full. This feature improves the slimline dishwasher’s ability to fit non traditional washing items.

Which test and overall verdict

The Bosch slimline dishwasher range is exceptional. 2 of the 3 earn "Which?" magazine best buys (the Excell and Classixx) and the third, in my opinion, only misses out due to the quality of the 2 cheaper Bosch slimline dishwashers. The value and quality offered by this range cannot be matched in the market place. The pick of the range is the mid their Exxcell, which includes the additional HydroSensor and Rackmatic features from the Logixx but is around £30 cheaper.
